IWDL are proud to announce a new relationship with Genova Diagnostics

This new partnership between IWDL - Europe’s largest functional testing laboratory -and the world’s leaders in functional testing to introduce Genova Diagnostics Europe. This will produce enormous benefits for practitioners and the industry as a whole.

Genova’s pioneering and comprehensive range of metabolic, digestive and nutritional profiles complement IWDL’s innovative immune and hormonal profiles. Together they will offer the most extensive range of accurate and scientifically validated laboratory-testing services in the UK & Europe.

Looking forward, our aim is to implement with immediate effect a considerable research and development programme that promises new tests, the transference of more testing to be performed in the UK, and further education opportunities coupled with better service and support.

Welcome to the future of functional and biochemical assessment.

Company Profile

After ten successful years performing our own tests and also acting as a distributor to other laboratories, IWDL is delighted by the formation of a new partnership with Genova Diagnostics. This exciting new merger will provide considerable benefits to our practitioners. Not only will new tests be introduced, but also more comprehensive and scientifically advanced profiles will be available. We will also continue our focus on providing high quality education and training. In addition we plan to increase our practitioner support service and be able to offer a faster more efficient testing service due to an increase in more local testing.

Genova Diagnostics - A History of Innovation

Established in 1986 as Great Smokies Diagnostic Laboratory, Genova Diagnostics has helped pioneer the field of functional laboratory testing. Functional testing evaluates the relationship between physiological systems, allowing for a thorough assessment of an individuals health. This differs from traditional allopathic testing which is more concerned about the pathology of disease. The innovative tests available cover a wide range of areas, including digestive, immune, nutritional, endocrine, and metabolic function. Functional testing helps the practitioner develop personalised interventions to assist patients in their desire for achieving optimal and lasting health.

Today, Genova offers their comprehensive range of diagnostic tests to over 8000 healthcare providers including primary/specialty doctors. To date, Genova have performed over 2 million individual diagnostic tests.

Genova is committed to medical education, the Genova Medical Science staff includes Medical Doctors, Naturopathic Doctors and clinical specialists who will be available to develop both the practitioner support aspect of laboratory testing but to also enhance the education available to practitioners.

Genova Diagnostics and IWDL are committed to meeting the highest professional standards in the clinical laboratory industry. Extensive certifications require both laboratories to adopt stringent Quality Assurance protocols, undergo periodic split sample testing on a regular basis.
